Financial assistance given to ailing journalists given in Manipur

Imphal, May 20 (UNI) Paomee Welfare Foundation (PWF) managed by All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union today disbursed Rs 1,90,643/- as assistance under the Medical Financial Assistance (MFA) 2019-20.
The financial assistance were given to five beneficiaries of MFA 2019-20 at Manipur Press Club.
A Medical Board recommends the names. Yumnam Homer Singh was awarded full coverage of his medical expenditure posthumously. Homer, a reporter of Sangai Express succumbed to acute pancreatitis and septic shock.
