New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) 'The Accidental Prime Minister', a film based on the life of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, will go on floors on March 31, the makers said on Tuesday.
‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, which will have senior actor Anupam Kher in the role of Dr Singh, begins shooting on March 31, film's producer Hansal Mehta tweeted.
Helmed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, produced by Bohra Brothers and adapted beautifully by Mayank,
'The Accidental Prime Minister' features an ensemble cast led by Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna.
The flick stars Anupam as Manmohan Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014 under the United Progressive Alliance. The film is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjaya Baru.
Incidentally, Akshaye will play the role of Sanjaya Baru in the movie.
