Fifth conclave on Energy held in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 15 (UNI) A conclave on 'Energy Storage Devices,' organised by the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), began at Government Engineering College, here on Saturday.
Inaugurating the event, senior industrialist and former president of Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Ramchandra Bhogale said, ''We are working on the sources and devices to store energy and tap it, whenever we want to use it. Today, various devices like capacitors and batteries are available for the storage of energy.
''However, we need solutions that would not only be energy efficient, but also commercially and ecologically viable,'' he added.
In this seminar, students would gain information and knowledge about the devices and get an idea on what to do in future, said Mr Bhogale.
More than 400 participants from the industry and the academia will participate in the five-day conclave, wherein eminent speakers and experts from this field would give presentations and also interact with the participants.
