Fake stamp papers worth over Rs 1.14 lakh seized in Raigad district, 1 nabbed

Thane, Feb 3 (UNI) City police have seized a large stock of fake stamp papers and arrested a person in this connection from Panvel of Raigad district.
Acting on a tip off, a team of Thane Crime Branch unit yesterday kept a vigil and nabbed him and seized a large stock of stamp papers and rubber stamps from him, police said today
Police seized around 450 fake stamp papers of the denomination of Rs 500, Rs 100 and Rs 50, totalling Rs 1,14,600 from the arrested person yesterday.
