Bidar, May 20 (UNI) Dismissing the Exit Poll survey that predicted the BJP led NDA to win historic second term with clear majority in the just concluded Lok Sabha election, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister M Veerappa Moily today claimed that the Congress -JD (S) alliance in Karnataka would win at least 16-17 Lok Sabha seats.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, he said " this exit poll survey were wrong and confused. The exit poll surveys are not always perfect. In 2004 it was proved wrong as it predicted that A B Vajpayee is all set to win with clear majority but it did not happen".
He said "If the people have voted for performance, I think the Congress -JD (S) alliance should get at least 16 to 17 seats in the State and like minded alliance will win above 290 seats and will get simple majority to form the Government at the Centre".
