Birmingham, Jun 30 (UNI) England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to bat against India in a World Cup match here at Edgbaston on Sunday.
England made two changes in their team as Jason Roy and Plunkett came in place of Moeen Ali and Joe Denly respectively.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli-led India made one change in the team. Vijay Shankar is out due to toe niggle and Rishabh Pant came in his place for this match.
India are the only unbeaten team in the World Cup and at the second position in the Points Table with 11 points in 6 matches. They need a win in Birmingham to join Australia in the semifinals.
On the other hand, England who were considered to be favourites to win the tournament , stand at the fifth position in the points table with eight points and are at the verge of exit from the tournament.
