Engineering students of Sinhgad Institutes build 2 small dams, road in Pune village as part of professional social responsibility

Pune, Jan 17 (UNI) In a bid to overcome the major challenge of water scarcity being faced by the rural folks in the hot summer months, a group of bright, committed engineering students built two dams in a small village at Velhe tehsil in Khadakwasla, Pune by volunteering physical efforts and resolved the problem of drinking water.

The students of Shrimati Kashibai Navale College of Engineering, located at Vadgaon-Budruk area of the city, managed by Sinhgad Technical Education Society and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, undertook this initiative as part of the National Service Scheme (NSS) project, a press release issued by college stated here on Friday.
