New Delhi, Sep 3 (UNI) Content czarina Ekta Kapoor took to social media to express her gratitude towards the phenomenal response to her recent show 'Home'.

The filmmaker not only announced the release of the upcoming episodes but also hinted yet another inspirational 'Home' journey.

Earlier, Ekta and Jeetendra shared fond memories of their home which received an exceptional response from not just the audience but also the industry.

Celebrated artists like Aahana Kumra, Nakull Mehta, Prince Narula, Kanchi Singh, Avika Gor amongst others shared their Home journey.

Now, Ekta has taken to social media to reveal someone special to unveil their Home journey, who has been an inspiration to the filmmaker.

Expressing her gratitude towards the stupendous response, an overwhelmed Ekta Kapoor shared, "So #home has struck a cord ! Overwhelmed with d msgs ! The second part of this season d remaining 6 eps release 21 st sept ! But it’s no more a campaign it’s far more than a show ! Soon I’ll release another ‘home’ journey of someone who is a huge inspiration.'

'Taking out a day was tough with hours of travel to where this person had d first home but I can safely say I’m d only person who can convince this person to shoot after more than a 8 year Hiatus!because it was not about d show it was abt d feeling that millions of Indians share that of buying a HOME,' she added.

Ekta Kapoor's ALTBalji and director Habib Faisal joined hands to present an emotional story of a middle-class family showcasing their struggle to fight for their home.

The initial episodes released recently and have been touching the hearts of the people owing to the heart-tugging storyline and remarkable performances.

The avid filmmaker has time and again expressed her fondness for topics that are closer to the audience and through her work Ekta attempts to put forth the emotions of the masses.

Hence, after the positive reception to the first season, Ekta Kapoor has now hinted at yet another home journey through her tweet.

'Home' resonates with every Indian who dreams to have their own shelter and is loosely based on the true events revolving around the Campa Cola Compound Case.

Directed by Habib Faisal, ALTBalaji's 'Home' stars Annu Kapoor, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Amol Parashar, Parikshit Sahni in lead roles.
