Manila, Mar 29 (UNI) A small plane bound for Japan crashed on Sunday night during take-off at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, killing all eight people on board, sources at the airport said.
According to the sources,the civilian plane, RPC 5880 operated by Lion Air In, burst into flames around 2000 hours local time at the airport runway, Xinhua reported.
Investigators from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) are at the scene to investigate the crash.
The CAAP has yet to issue an official statement.
