East Godavari tops in grounding of government schemes

Kakinada, Nov 30 (UNI) East Godavari stood first in the entire state in grounding of various developmental and welfare schemes and secured A grade achieving 88.1 per cent progress.
It was announced at the state level Collectors meet at Vijayawada on Friday, where the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has complimented the Collector Kartikeya Mishra and other district officials for the achievement.
The second place went to Krishna district with 87.5 per cent and Chittoor district stood third by achieving 85 per cent progress. Official sources said that East Godavari had achieved on an average 80 per cent progress in implementation of other schemes and programmes.
