New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) To take stock of the situation of the violence-affected areas in the capital, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval visited the affected Maujpur and adjoining areas on Wednesday.
Earlier, he also held a meeting with DCP northeast in Seelampur.
He reached again the area 11 hours after visiting all the riot affected places to review the security situation.
"The situation is under control and I have confidence in law enforcement agencies," Mr Doval said adding that the Police is doing its work.
During his round to the areas including Jaffrabad, Mr Doval interacted with local residents and asked people to maintain harmony.
The Cabinet Committee on Security, the final decision-making body on matters related to country's security - will meet today to discuss the violence in the capital.
