Disability ID Project fully implemented in Manipur

Imphal, Dec 3 (UNI) Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister Nemcha Kipgen today said Unique Disability ID (UDID) for Persons with Disabilities project was already implemented in all the 16 Districts of Manipur.
It is a project which is being implemented to create a National Database for PwDs, and to issue a Unique Disability Identity Card to each person with disabilities.
She was addressing the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2019 held at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen here. It was celebrated on the theme ‘Promoting the participation of persons with disabilities and their leadership: taking action on the 2030 Development Agenda.’
