Dinakaran appears before police for third day over 'bribery case'

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) AIADMK leader TTV Dinakaran today appeared before the Crime Branch of Delhi Police here for the third day in connection with an alleged bribery case to get the party's (two leaves) symbol. Sources said that Mr Dinakaran reached the Crime Branch Inter State Cell, Chanakyapuri this afternoon. His personal assistant has also reached to join the probe. The nephew of VK Sasikala (jailed general secretary of the party) was questioned till late last night by the officials yesterday. On Saturday, he was questioned for seven hours by the officials and at around 2215 hrs, he was allowed to go. The police had registered an FIR against him for allegedly seeking a deal of Rs 60 crore from a middleman to get party's election symbol (two leaves). The action came following arrest of a man named Sukesh Chandrashekhar along with Rs 1.3 crore from a hotel here. Earlier, the police had issued notice against Mr Dinakaran after they received inputs that he may leave the country. UNI DS RSA SHK 1956
