Dhanalakshmi clocks PB to win 200m in Almaty

Almaty, June 27 (UNI) Ace sprinter Dhanalakshmi Sekar clocked her personal best timing to win the 200m sprint at the Qosanov Memorial 2022 athletics meet.
Dhanalakshmi ran with a timing of 22.89s to finish on top while Dutee Chand clocked 23.60s to finish third here on Sunday.
She missed the automatic World Championships qualification mark of 22.80s and also narrowly missed out on breaking a 20-year-old national record of 22.82s set by Saraswati Saha in 2002.
