Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Apr 19 (UNI) Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday offered an apology to people of the Aurangabad city on issue of dumping of garbage, which has remained unresolved for over last two months resulting in garbage heaps all over the city.
He was on a two-day tour of Aurangabad to meet party workers and elected representatives ahead of general and assembly elections in the state due next year.
Addressing a press conference here this evening, he said, "The issue of garbage is a serious one and I do not want to play politics over it. Solving the issue of garbage is the responsibility of all and everybody will have to work seriously for that."
