New Delhi, Apr 12 (UNI) The Delhi High Court on Monday adjourned the hearing on the National Herald case till May 18, granting time to Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and others to file replies on a plea filed by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy challenging the earlier trial court order.
A single-judge bench of Justice Suresh Kumar Kait adjourned the matter for over a month after the lawyers apprised the court that the leaders could not file replies as their office was closed due to COVID-19 and sought more time.
On February 22, the Delhi HC had sought responses from Gandhis, AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes, Suman Dubey, Sam Pitroda, and Young Indian (YI) on Swamy's plea and had stayed the trial court proceedings until April 12.
