Delhi Congress accuses AAP, BJP of violating code of conduct

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) A Delhi Congress delegation on Wednesday met the Chief Electoral Officer and brought to his notice about posters, hoardings and other material of Prime Mininster Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal at various public places including petrol pumps, schools, Mohalla Clinics and other government developed infrastructure despite Code of Conduct coming into force as the Election Commission announced 2019 general elections.
Led by former Delhi Minister and Congress leader Mangat Ram Singhal, the delegation also told the CEO that the Aam Aadmi Party Government had collected details like mobile numbers and Adhaar Card of parents of students in Government schools, allegedly pressuring them to vote for the AAP candidates in the coming Lok Sabha polls.
Mr Singhal further said that all this was also a clear case of misuse of power and violation of the code of conduct by the AAP Government in Delhi.
