Delhi Airport gets formal status as major hub for import & export of medical items

New Delhi, Apr 23 (UNI) Ministry of Civil Aviation has designated Delhi International Airport as major hub for import and distribution of COVID-19 related medical essentials.
Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) on Thursday said that Delhi airport has been providing all types of logistic facilities since the onset of the Covid-19 epidemic. As many as 20–22 cargo planes have been operating at the airport.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has now formally accorded it the status of a major hub for import and export of medical supplies.
