Decision on name change is likely to come before the LS elections: Osmani

Mumbai, Mar 18 (UNI) The hearing on the renaming of Aurangabad city ended on Monday in the Bombay High Court.
On the last day of hearing, the court gave opportunity to senior counsel Anil Anturkar on behalf of anti-name change petitioner, Mohammad Hisham Osmani. Anturkar showed the court how the government wrongly and illegally renamed Aurangabad as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. He expressed hope that the name of the historical city will not be changed.
The hearing was held for two hours, and public prosecutor Dr. Birendra Saraf was also present, said petitioner Osmani, hailing from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
