New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) issued a notice to the Delhi Police in connection with rape case of a seven-year-old girl in West Delhi's Ranjeet Nagar area.
The Commission received information regarding the crime on Friday. As per reports, the girl was lured by a man who offered her a 10 rupee note and allegedly raped her. The father of the girl took her to a nearby hospital but since her bleeding did not stop, she was referred to another hospital, where she was admitted in a critical condition.
DCW Chairperson Swati Maliwal took cognizance of this case and issued notice to the Delhi Police and asked the police to take immediate action in the case. The Commission sought the details of the FIR and asked what steps Delhi Police are taking in the case.
