Dalmia Bharat Group launches two variants of cement for Odisha and North East

Bhubaneswar,Jun 22 (UNI) Dalmia Bharat Group, a pioneer in cement manufacturing, today launched two variants of cement for the consumers of Odisha and North East.
Dalmia Bharat Group CEO Mahendra Singhi launched the Dhalai special Dalmia DSP cement and Dalmia cement.
Launching the products, Mr Singhi said the two variants of cement along with Konark cement, a leading brand of the company,
would be made available across 650 dealers and network partners in the state.
He said while the Dalmia DSP cement is the best in class product specially engineered for Dhalai application, the Dalmia
Cement protects embedded steel from water,chemicals and pollutants.
The Group CEO said with the development of infrastructure in the state, the market is set to witness a boom in the construction
sector which is the demand driver of cement.
Mr Singhi said Dalmia cement is one of the leading cement producers of the country with an aggregated capacity of 25 MTPA
and has an annual turnover of Rs 8000 crore.
The company, he said, targetted to have a turnover of Rs 1,500 crore in Odisha from earlier Rs 1200 crore after the launch of the
two products.
The company, he said, has fixed a sale target of 75,000 tons per month for the two products launched today. At present the company
has market of 2.5 lakh tons of cement per month in Odisha.
Mr Singhi said the company has 11 cement manufacturing plants in the country including two in Odisha—Rajgangpur and Cuttack .
The group is a multi spectrum cement player with market leadership position and a pioneer in manufacturing super specialty cement
used for Oil wells, Railway sleepers, Air strips and is the country's largest producer of slag cement with a national presence, Mr Singhi
claimed.
