Criminals looted more than Rs 8 lakh from bank

Patna, July 7 (UNI) Some armed criminals looted more than Rs 8 lakh from two different banks at separate places in Bihar today.
According to reports, Rs 4.5 lakh were looted from Bank of India in Buxar and Rs 3 lakh 98 thousand from a bank in Vaishali district .
A report from Buxar quoting police superintendent Upendra Nath Verma said, some armed criminals entered into a branch of Bank of India located in Mhada village under Mudassir police station area and looted the amount after taking the employees and customers in their captive at gunpoint.Mr Verma said that senior officials investigating into the incident .A report from Vaishali quoting police sources said that three motorcycle borne criminals attacked at a private bank near Suraj Chauk and looted Rs 3 lakh 98 thousand from the bank after taking the employees and customers in their captive at gunpointThe matter is being investigated.
