Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jul 28 2016 7:06PM Crime branch investigating charge against BJP rebel MLAAhmedabad, Jul 28 (UNI) The crime branch of Gujarat police was today handed over investigation against a rebel BJP member of the state Assembly from Dhari constituency in Amreli district, for allegedly demanding Rs two crore as protection money from an Ahmedabad-based builder for getting an illegal land cleared by the government. Police said the builder Madhubhai Vasani (Patel) had also complained against Nalin Kotadiya of snatching a gold chain worth about Rs 60,000, besides manhandling him in his office with the help of an accomplice. The police said as per the complainant, Kotadiya along with another person had come to his office in Vastrapur locality, here late night on July 26 and demanded his share of Rs two crore for getting the title of a disputed land in Daskroi taluka cleared in his favour by the state government.
