Cricket Association of Bengal's Annual Awards Ceremony postponed

Cricket Association of Bengal's Annual Awards Ceremony postponed

Kolkata, Dec 22 (UNI) The Cricket Association of Bengal has postponed
its annual award ceremony, which was scheduled for December 28.
" The decision of deferment has been taken since our most important
stakeholder, the Bengal cricketers, are playing practice matches
in the camp as part of their preparations for Syed Mushtaq Ali
trophy" said CAB president Avishek Dalmiya on Tuesday.
" Besides, it was felt rational to not let them assemble in front of a
large gathering just before the first domestic meet of BCCI in this
season amidst the ongoing pandemic.
The revised date for the CAB Annual Awards event would be announced
in due course of time”, said Mr Dalmiya.
