CPI-M urges CM to put an end to strike by PU students

Puducherry, Feb 20 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Thursday urged Chief Minister V Narayanasamy and the two Parliament members from the Union Territory to pressurize the union government to bring an end to the strike by the Pondicherry University (PU) students.

CPI(M) Secretary Rajangam in a statement charged that the PU management is initiating decisions against the interest of the students with the alleged consent of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
