Covid cases reach 7875, death toll 46 in Manipur

Imphal, Sep 13 (UNI) In the past twenty-four hours, 133 persons (108M, 25F) from general population and 11 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases.
The positive cases were from VRDL, RIMS-13; JNIMS-22; Thoubal - 20; Raj Medicity — 3; Shija Hospital —- 5; CMC — 1; RIMS RAT — 12; Churachandpur - 11; Imphal West RAT - 27; Kangpokpi - 1; Imphal East RAT — 10; Bishnupur - 8; RD Wing — 1; Babina Diagnostics - 9; Maipakpi Hospital - 1. They were from Imphal West - 63; Churachandpur — 12: Thoubal — 22; Imphal East -23: Kakching - 1; Kangpokpi - 2; Bishnupur - 10. Sixteen persons (Kangpokpi - 1; Churachandpur — 11, Imphal West -1, Imphal East-3) out of the general population were returnees from other states while the rest 117 were without any significant travel history. They were being shifted to the Covid Care facilities.
In the last 24 hours, an 86 year old man from Churachandpur expired at RIMS. The cumulative number of deaths is 46.
