COVID cases near 10k in Aurangabad, toll at 377

Aurangabad, Jul 16 (UNI) With the addition of 300 positive cases in the past 24 hours, the total number of positive Novel Coronavirus patients rose to 9744 in this Maharashtra district, while the death toll reached 377, after seven people succumbed to the deadly virus on Thursday.
According to the district administration sources, 66 patients tested positive this morning, while 61 additions were reported in afternoon and 173 were added tonight.
On a positive note, 137 COVID-infected people were cured and discharged from hospitals, including 107 from the Municipal Corporation area and 30 from the Rural area. With this, total 5636 cured COVID patients returned to their homes.
