Puducherry, Sep 19 (UNI) As many as 79 fresh Coronavirus cases and two deaths have been reported in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours, ending at 10 AM on Sunday, taking the infection tally to 1,25,463 and death toll to 1,831.
On Saturday, 128 new cases and one fatality had been registered.
According to the Covid-19 status released by the health department here, of the 4,765 swab sample tests conducted yesterday, 79 persons tested positive for the virus.
