COVID-19: Kerala reports 6,334 new cases

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 21 (UNI) 6,334 cases of Covid-19 were reported in Kerala on Thursday while 6,229 patients recovered from the disease, Health Minister KK Shailaja said.
The Minister said in a press release this evening
"In the last 24 hours, Covid(UK strain)was confirmed in one person who recently came to Kerala from the UK (total 66 now) and their samples have been sent to NIV, Pune for further testing. So far, nine people who came from the UK were diagnosed with the genetically modified virus,".
