COVID-19 affected girl of Manipur travel via Agartala raised an alarm

Agartala, Mar 24 (UNI) With the detection of first coronavirus positive case in Imphal, Tripura government has issued a high alert for the people of the state asking the passengers who travelled from different national and international destinations here in last five days to go for voluntary quarantine to zero down the risk.
According to report, in the name of COVID-19 surveillance at Agartala airport, the health workers have been checking only the temperature of the flyer and release everybody is getting released whose body temperature found below 100 despite specific directions to record medical and travel history.
The health officials here stated that 23 years old Vimi Ningombam of Imphal was found COVID-19 had confirmed coronavirus positive in London and she travelled with his brother Aug Ningombam from Kolkata via Agartala to Imphal by Air Asia flight on March 21. Now, the health and civil administration have launched haunt against each and every passenger had got down from the flight in Agartala.
