Cousin throws infant into Ganga in revenge, toddler dies

Bhabhua, Oct 7 (UNI) In an act of revenge, a one year old infant was thrown into Ganga river
by his cousin leading to his death under Bhabhua police station area in Kaimur district.
The shocking incident was revealed when the accused Ramaskhi was arrested yesterday.
Confessing to his crime, Ramsakhi disclosed that he had thrown his cousin into Ganga river
in revenge claiming that his uncle was a sorcerer and killed his two sons through black magic.
Police Superintendent Harpreet Kaur said that Ramsakhi had kidnapped his uncle Surendra
Dom`s one year old son on October 2 last and threw him into Ganga river in revenge. She said
that the accused had called his uncle and his son to a culvert and he kidnapped the infant later.
SP said that a sorcerer Motichandra who instigated Ramaskhi for the crime had also been
arrested. Both the accused were forwarded to a local jail during the day.
Efforts are on to fish out the body of infant.
