Cousin rapes minor, with connivance of her friend

Batala, Oct 24 (UNI) A minor girl was allegedly raped by the cousin of her friend, with the latter's connivance, at Nau Shehra Mazza Singh village under Sekhwan police station.
A 15-year-old girl has lodged a complaint with the police that she was raped by the maternal cousin of her friend Gurpreet Kaur, resident of the same village, who used to frequent her house.
The survivor, studying in class 9 of a private school, said Gurpreet introduced her to her maternal uncle's son Panthjit Singh, resident of Gurdas Nangal, who started coming to the survivor's house. On September 26, the accused came to her house and raped her and when she raised an alarm, he escaped, the complainant added.
