Congress and allies have only given smoke and pollution to people of Dhanbad: PM

Dhanbad, Dec 12 (UNI) Accusing the Congress party of creating such an environment in the country in which the people had almost their faith on the manifesto and political promises made by the leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Congress and its allies have only given smoke and pollution to the people of the 'black diamond city'.
Addressing an election rally at Barwadda here, he said that using the coal of the area people have went on to construct palaces but people here have been forced to live in poverty. "Congress and its allies have only given Dhul, Dhunwa and Dhoka (dust, smoke and cheating) to the people of Dhanbad," he said adding that it was the BJP government which formed the district mining fund under which Jharkhand got Rs 5,000 crore which is being used for execution of developmental schemes in the mining areas including laying of water pipelines.
He said, while the Congress gave the pain of displacement to the people of the region the BJP gave iit status to ISM Dhanbad, built the passport centre, provided AIIMS in Deoghar, strengthened the medical sector and opened 4 new medical colleges in the state apart from that through Atal clinics and health and wellness centers the poor people are being treated in the state.
