Kohima, May 23 (UNI) The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Thursday night accepted the defeat of party candidate K L Chishi from the lone Nagaland Parliamentary constituency.
According to a statement issued by the Communication department of NPCC, 'Despite a heart-rending loss by a close margin, we are grateful to the people of Nagaland, who exercised their conscience in voting for INC candidate to protect our belief, culture, traditions and way of life.
