Hubballi, April 16 (UNI) Congress candidate Vinod Asuti on Tuesday filed nomination papers for the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, a day after BJP candidate Pralhad Joshi did it.
Asuti's roadshow made a significant impact, drawing large crowds and receiving support from various influential party leaders. The choice of attire and the use of folk troupes and slogans indicated a well-thought-out campaign strategy aimed at resonating with the local people.
On the other hand, Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad, while accompanying Asuti, criticised BJP candidate Pralhad Joshi for relying heavily on the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi instead of highlighting his party's achievements and initiatives, especially in areas like poverty eradication and economic conditions.
