Cong appoints election incharges in Mah region

New Delhi, Sep 19 (UNI) The Congress on Thursday appointed election incharges in Maharashtra for various regions.

According to a release by AICC general secretary K C Venugopal, Mr Mukul Wasnik has been appointed as the election incharge for Vidarbha region while Avinash Pandey has been appointed as election incharge for Mumbai region and for the election control room.

Rajya Sabha MP Rajni Patil has been appointed the election incharge for the Western and Konkan regions while RC Khuntia has been appointed election incharge for the Northern Maharashtra region and Rajeev Satav for the Marathwada region.
Mr Venugopal said that the AICC secretaries and AICC incharge for the respective region will be attached to them.

Elections to the Maharashtra assembly are scheduled to be held by the end of the year.
