Committee to prepare guidelines to ensure more students stay in India, study in India

New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) The Human Resource Development Ministry will set up a committee headed by UGC Chairman DP Singh to prepare guidelines to ensure that more and more students stay back in India and not opt to go abroad for studies.
The committee will prepare guidelines to encourage more and more students to study in India, come out with mechanism to increase intake in well-performing universities and look at ways to start multi-disciplinary and innovative programmes.
The Committee is expected to submit report within a fortnight.
