CM should step down as he lost moral right to hold high office :YSRCP

Hyderabad, Sept 6 (UNI) YSR Congress party (YSRCP) today demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should step down as he has lost the moral right to continue in the high office after the ACB court direction to reinvestigate the cash for vote case and the Assembly session should be adequately long to discuss the core issues.
Talking to newsmen here, YSRCP MLA Gandikota Srikanth Reddy and Senior leader Pilli Subashchandra Bose said ‘as of now, Mr Naidu did not categorically state that the voice on record in the cash for vote case does not belong to him which shows his guilt and a person with such background has no right to continue as Chief Minister’.
Reiterating that the government should convene the Assembly giving sufficient time to discuss the issues of public importance, the party demanded that the session should not be reduced to a mere formality and Mr Naidu should step down owning moral responsibility with the court’s directive in the cash for vote case. The assembly session should be convened for at least 15 days as there are many issues of public importance to be discussed.
