Darbhanga, Dec 12 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation of various developmental schemes worth Rs 1051.71 crore here today.
During his Jal- Jivan- Hariyaali yatra, Mr Kumar addressing a public meeting at Murtzapur village under Benipur block of the district paid homage to Mahakavi ( a great poet) Baba Nagarjun by reciting one of his poem on the environment and said that conservation of environment was essential to save life on the earth.
He said Bihar is constantly facing flood and drought both due to climatic change and schemes for agricultural too have been designed keeping in mind the climatic conditions.
