CISF conducts mock drill on ‘bomb threat call’ at Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro station

New Delhi, Jan 9 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Tuesday conducted a mock drill exercise at Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro station of Magenta Line involving stakeholders on scenario of “Bomb Threat Call” to check the operational preparedness and response of various agencies during such contingency here on Tuesday.
During the exercise, the teams of CISF, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and UP Police participated.
"The drill started at 1100 hrs when a scenario of Bomb Threat Call for Okhla Bird Sanctuary metro station was assumed with a message received by the Station Controller from an unknown caller in which caller stated that a bomb has been planted inside a bag in the premises of Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro station", CISF said in a statement.
