China opposes India branding Islamabad to terrorism: Hua Chunying

Beijing, Oct 17 (UNI) Defending Pakistan on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s branding the country as a “mother-ship of terrorism” during BRICS summit, China, all weather-ally of Islamabad, today said that Beijing opposed the linking of terrorism to any specific country, ethnicity or religion.
Reacting sharply to a question about branding Islamabad as terrorist state, the Spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying during a daily news briefing here today said China was opposed to linking any country to terrorism.
She said that China’s position on the issue was consistent. Hua further added, "Everyone knows that both the countries are victims of terrorism and Pakistan has made huge efforts and great sacrifices in fighting terrorism. I think the international community should respect this.”
