Chhatishan Nijog approves ritual timings of Lord Jagannath's "Chandan Yatra"

Puri, April 24 (UNI) The Chhatisha Nijog of Sri Jagannath temple on Wednesday approved the ritual timings and proceedings for the famous 21-day water sports festival of Lord Jagannath, popularly known as Chandan Yatra.
The sub-committee for rituals of Sri Jagannath temple has prepared the rituals of Chandan yatra beginning May 10 which was approved by the Chhatisha Nijog in its meeting on Wednesday.
