Lucknow, Apr 18 (UNI) CenturyPly, one of the largest sellers of multi-use plywood and decorative veneers in the country, had recently conducted a raid at Noida in Gautam Buddha Nagar district to seize counterfeit plywood products bearing the brand name of the company.
CenturyPly had filed an FIR in the Bisrakh Police Station and conducted the raid.
The raid was first piloted to VVIP Homes, Sector 16C, Greater Noida West where spurious plywood under the leading brand name of CENTURYPLY was being supplied by a local contractor.
After investigation, another raid was conducted on Shivam International, Shop no. 5&6 , Dalchand Yadav Market (Tigri Market), Greater Noida, the alleged supplier of the counterfeited plywood and block boards. The police seized a large number of counterfeit products. These counterfeited products include varied spurious plywood products under the brand name of CenturyPly.
FIR was filed by CenturyPly against this spurious act of forgery and further investigation is underway.
