Centre spending Rs 50,000 Cr to achieve self sufficiency in Fertiliser production: Sadananda Gowda

Bengaluru, Jan 24 (UNI) Union Minister for Fertilizers and Chemicals D V Sadananda Gowda on Sunday said that the central government has been making efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in the fertilizer production and has taken up rehabilitation of four fertilizers companies at a cost of Rs 50,000 cores.
In a statement issued here, he said that due to various reasons these four fertilizers companies have been shut down. Now the union government has come out with a plan to rehabilitate them, it includes Ramagundam plant work almost completed and ready to produce urea.
He said similarly the government also took up various projects in the pharmacy sectors with three baulk parks and four medicinal devices were included.
