Centre seeks report from state govt over gang rape of law student

Ranchi, Dec 3 (UNI) The Central government has sought a report from the state government over the incident of gang rape of a law student and subsequent legal action taken so far in the case.
The Union Home Ministry has asked the state government to file a report in this regard as soon as possible.
On November 26, the victim was gang raped by 12 accused after she was forcibly taken away from A bus stand at Sangrampur under Kanke Police Station while she was sitting with her friend.
