New Delhi, Dec 8 (UNI) The Centre has released Rs 120 crore government grant to Manipur under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) to expedite its implementation in the state, the Jal Shakti Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Central fund of Rs 481 crore has been allocated to the state for 2021-22 for the implementation of JJM, which is nearly four times the fund allocation made during 2020-21," the Ministry said in a statement here.
Manipur plans to make provision of tap water supply to every rural household by September, 2022, it added.
