Centre ready to discuss farmers’ issues at earliest, Shah appeals agitating farmers to shift to Nirankari ground

New Delhi, Nov 28 (UNI) Appealing the farmers of Punjab and Haryana who have been agitating at Delhi Borders to shift to the designated place at Nirankari Ground in Burari here, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday reiterated that the Government is ready to discuss their issues on December 3.
He also said that a section of farmers unions want an early discussion on their issues, the Government will speak to them the very next day but first they have to shift their protests from the highways at border areas to the allocated place.
Making an appeal to these farmers, Mr Shah said that the place decided by the Delhi Police is well equipped with all facilities including medical attendance and they can protest there in a peaceful and democratic manner.
The Home Minister also informed that on this issue, the Centre has already fixed December 3 for discussing various issues of the farmers following a delegation level meeting here on November 13.
He also added that the agitating farmers have been camping at Delhi border in open in this winter which is causing concerns and the traffic movement has also been disrupted.
The farmers from Punjab and Haryana have been camping at Delhi Borders since November 27 afternoon as they were not allowed to enter in Delhi by the Police but later, the police administration allowed them to proceed up to Nirankari ground in Burai for their peaceful protest.
