CBI registers case against ex-ED of Central Bank of India

New Dehi, Sep 30 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against former Executive Director (ED) of Central Bank of India RK Dubey for alleged deviations in sanctioning credit facilities to a company during his service to a tune of Rs 13.5 crore.
According to CBI, a case was registered on a complaint by Central Bank of India alleging that the then ED, in criminal conspiracy with two Directors of private Transport company based at Delhi, had allowed deviations in sanctioning credit facilities to the tune of Rs13.5 crore to the said company in violation of the laid down rules and regulations.
The firm turned defaulter in repayment of the loan to the tune of Rs 6.9 crore to the bank and corresponding wrongful gain to the said company, it said.
