Can bomb weighing 20 kgs recovered in Godda

Godda, Dec 27 (UNI) In a joint operation by the Godda and Dumka district police, a can bomb weighing around 20 kgs was today recovered from Ghutipada under Sunadrpahadi Police Station area of this district.
Dumka SP Y S Ramesh said that the bomb had been planted by the Maoists to inflict damage on the security forces. He said, following a secret tip off search operation was conducted in the area in which the bomb was spotted.
Later, a team of the bomb disposal squad defused the bomb. SP said, search operations were on Sundarpahari area.

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Scorching heat appears to have affected polling percentage during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in five seats in Bihar, as only 58.58 percent electorate exercised their franchise compared to 62.92 percent in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which is 4.34 percent less this year.
