Cabinet decisions: Contract of bell based teachers extended in universities

Ranchi, Sep 28 (UNI) The state government on Tuesday decided to extend the contract of the bell based teachers teaching in the universities of the state till March 31, 2022.
A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. A total of 17 proposals of various departments were approved in the cabinet.
Service extension has been given to bell based teachers in various universities and colleges of the state. The contract of bell based teachers in the university has been extended till 31 March 2022. It has been approved in the cabinet meeting. The contract was expiring on 30 September.

COVID-19 cases on decline in Meghalaya

Shillong, Oct (UNI) The daily COVID-19 case count has been on a gradual decline with the number of recoveries from the viral disease at 86 exceeding the number of fresh cases of infection at 55 on Sunday in Meghalaya, which also recorded the death of one patient, who was not vaccinated, health officials said.
